So Happy!

So happy today reading the sports news that the Yankees won again, can’t wait to see the rerun on ESPN!! Their 3rd game scored 5-0 against their all time rival Boston Red Sox. CC Sabathia was the opening pitcher for the Yankees and he did a great job!

I watched yesterday morning (saturday morning for p.i. and friday night in NY) on ESPN, of the Yanks 2nd game vs. the sox. IT was AWESOME!! A.J. Burnett was the opening pitcher for the Yanks and Josh Beckett for the sox. The game was so intense…I kept cheering, hoping and waiting for someone from the Yanks to step up, it was a scoreless innings ’till bottom of the 15th when Alex Rodriguez a.k.a A-ROD finally made a 2 run home run with Derek Jeter on 1st base that won the game of 2-0. . It was PRICELESS!! SOOO happy!!!
A.J. Burnett was remarkable!!
“It was awesome,” Burnett said. “It was an environment, really, I can’t describe. You see the whole place pretty much full in the 15th. And to come off the field and get that ovation, I’ve never experienced that before. It was amazing.”

I’m guessing the Yankees fan are loving A-Rod right now. It seems like they have a love/hate relationship with him. I still think he’s overpaid and overrated, but whatever. I liked him better when he was younger and not all about money. I wonder what his idol, Cal Ripken, Jr., thinks about him now…
