Quotes and T.D.M.L.

I’ve started reading a book titled “A Great Controversy” by Ellen G. White like 3 years ago but I’ve never got around to finish the whole book not even close to half of it. Sooo typically me! As to why? don’t ask hahaha. Just got lazy and the lack of commitment on my part, err! Though been slowly getting back in the habit of reading a book with plans to finish this one first (the book i’ve just mentioned).

Moreover, i wanna quote this line that i like in the book…

Break

“Satan seeks to divert men’s thoughts and affections from God, and to fix them upon human agencies; he leads them to honor the mere instrument, and to ignore the Hand that directs all the events and providence. Too often, religious leaders who are thus praised and reverenced lose sight of their dependence upon God, and are led to trust in themselves. As a result, they seek to control the minds and consciences of the people, who are disposed to look to them for guidance instead of looking to the Word of God.”

Strikingly true aw…

Anyhoo, have i mentioned I’m nocturnal? Haha i got home at 3am from the café, I slept around 9am or almost 10 after rummaging through my old things. Enjoyed and laughed in reading old letters, finding some of my old diaries and what i wrote in my daily mini organizer notes when i was in my high school days, while also listening to the music on my phone that also serves as my mini mp3 player. Then thought i’d post and share some of my old stuff that I’ve managed to still keep through the years…

Break

This one is from a classmate i think in my 2nd or 3rd year in High School, who passed this to me, written in a little piece of paper (please bare with me on this) that says It began in France and now it’s here. Write the name of a boy you love, inside the box provided below and keep it for 8 days…Don’t break this letter, otherwise you’ll have a bad luck for 2 years with guys. A week is given to distribute to 5-9 of your friends except me” then with a little box drawn below it…as naive as I was, I carefully wrote the name of my H.S. crush in a heartbeat and willingly passed it to my friends hahahaha, should i type his name on here? *undecided*…Nah you can just view it on the picture. Though hopefully no one knows him *looks around* shh don’t tell on me ok? scouts honor? Heehee just kidding! I think there’s no harm in spilling it here and besides its high school for cryin’ out loud! Way back 11 or 12 years ago? lmao! and i thought gosh! my penmanship looked different every year.

Break

Again this was in H.S., chain letters are NO FUN for me as i’ve grown up even up to now…in fact i’d get so annoyed when i get one, NO OFFENSE i just hate it esp. on my friendster account. After consistently receiving emails only to find they were all chain letters. Happy that i have emails waiting  to be opened and i get all excited only to find out they were nothing but CHAIN LETTERS that i finally broke into a fit huhuhu . I posted a message on my fs bulletin saying something like — “To all my friends, close friends, family and cousins. Please don’t send me chain letters or messages anymore, and it doesn’t mean that i love you less but it’s just really annoying. Thank you” — . . After that Thank God no one sends me chain letters anymore. *big smiles*

Break

Well that’s all the story for now…I’mma watch TV.
God Bless and be safe!

chain letters are for little boys and girls. we’re grown up now. and if those stuff are true, ang dami na sigurong namatay o minalas dahil hindi ipinasa ang letter. isa na ako dun. hehehe!

I remember the letters of my younger years. I never had the chain letter experience, although I do get chain texts on my phone. 😛

When I was in middle school me and my best friend use to exchange notebooks. We would write notes to each other in class and if we saw each other while we were in the hall we would exchange the notebooks. We even wrote in them over the weekends. One weekend we challenged each other to see who could write the most in the notebooks and we both returned to school with over 50 FILLED pages. We probably went through 1000pgs of paper in one grade alone.

Recently, I reread the notebooks and got a real kick out of it so I sent it to my friend in the mail.
