*At the cafe* Errr.. I have to let this out by writing what i think and feel at this very moment or else i’ll explode. I’m trying to calm myself down coz i’d be damned to stoop on someone’s level of thinking. I mean whatta hell??? I’m shocked by HOW some people behave and specifically by a woman who just came in a minute ago. The cafe is crowded, and i’m printing some files for some customers. Walking back and forth from the counter to another computer and busy attending to customers having problems with the computer. I’m all alone and i’m expecting customers to have a little courtesy in them as to wait for awhile coz i’m not a robot and i can’t split myself in half just so i could do everything for them at once.

Then this woman came in, she was like “Hey, I want a computer!”–Acting all bossy and snooty, i just looked at her from where i was sitting on the other computer. I saw Irene (a cousin’s cousin who happens to be hanging out at the cafe) eyeing me and with the look on her face that says “Who the hell does she think she is??”, So I stared at the woman but still keeping my cool, she was this Filipina(a balikbayan) from Germany coz i heard her talking to her son in German language. I don’t know her but from what i see i can tell that she’s a show off from how she acted when she got in. In my mind i was like “mannnn, some people”. Moreover, when she got on one computer she was complaining about the keyboard and acting like she knows too much about computer when she obviously doesn’t. It just made me shake my head in total disappointment. And when she finished, she gave me a tip — she must’ve noticed how shocked i was by her lack of decency and respect for other people, i gave it back to her saying “No, thank you” and besides i don’t normally accept tips except for some who willingly offered or give it as a REAL THANK YOU and not accepting it would be rude. But to her i was like “thanks but no thanks” obviously wanting her to realize that i’m not too happy with her “attitude”. I didn’t even look at her.

These type of things aren’t new to me anymore, I should be used to it by now…’i mean we’ve had a lot of people who come in here acting like they’re someone to be treated royally, acting like we’re a couple of maids that they can run around. I’ve encountered different horrible situations with a REALLY disturbing behavior. Thinking that they can get away with it because we’re only working in an “internet cafe”, — i mean HELLO!!!????? STEREOTYPES!! And everytime someone like that came in here they never cease to shock me… I’m utterly disgusted. It’s Preposterous!! I get shocked when customers trying to get my attention by calling “psssssssssst” . I just find it rude. You can just say “Excuse Me” or somethin’. Like when you’re at some restaurant, you don’t go call “pssssst” on the waiters or waitresses instead you raise your hand a little to give them the cue or signal. It’s not nice and besides that– it’s really unethical. And sometimes it’s really disappointing that some people who looks presentable and educated does the opposite. Please have RESPECT-for others and for yourself.

Im tired…having people like that everyday, completely drains all  my strength. *sigh*
