First off, I wanna Congratulate the Yankees…
Woooohoooo!!! Congratulations to the Yankees for Winning the World Series Champions for 2009!!!!!!!

(Photos i got from Sliding Into Home.)
But hold up (no don’t raise your hands, i ain’t a robber) lol just playing, I’d like to update you guys what has been up with me lately though i’ll warn you it will be a long one, bear with me? please? *puppy dog eyes* thank you! heehee.
Anyways, I have been putting my thoughts on hold coz i could not focus with the World Series and Yankee Game 6 on my mind. Now clearly I have a lot to say with everything that has been happening which were so Great heehee. Last week, me and my Aunt/Aints together with my cousins went to CDO again last friday afternoon for a final Girls Night Out before my cousin Ciony leaves out of the country and i have mentioned that on my last post. So we went bar hopping again and we had so much fun. Partied all night and were all but clean fun . After that went home to my cousin’s apartment, had noodles, we were talking so loud while eating that the next door guy told us to keep our voices down coz they have a baby sleeping which was a bit awkward but it was our fault
. The next morning we were getting ready again to head home. Short yeah? We had to get home by Saturday for Sunday which is a church day and i cannot miss Game 5 of the World Series.
Before going back home we went malling first and also while waiting for the Van (from Gingoog that travels from Gingoog to CDO or from CDO – Gingoog- then to Butuan City or vice versa just between those areas). Aints and me went to CDrking to buy a netbook keyboard protector like this and a laptop cooling pad for her laptop and for my Lenovo Ideapad, which my Aints insisted to pay mine too and i think it was sweet of her heehee, Thank you Aints. Then we had lunch at Chowking, i had Lumpia Shanghai, my fave. After lunch me and Haze went to buy cross-stitch thread for Ma’s friend. While Irene (cousin’s cousin) and Aints were shopping for some stuff. Eventually, Me and Hazel rested on some Mall’s benches coz we were so tired and we only had a couple hours of sleep. By 3pm something, we decided to go to the terminal and wait for the van but on our way to get our bags i saw a poster of “This Is It” of Michael Jackson already showing in the theaters and i was like Aints we have to watch it coz there’s no theater in Gingoog, but we have no choice. We got to the terminal like 4pm something and saw a swarm of people gathering around the terminal and it was like fully loaded even on a hot afternoon since alot of people wants to go home for Halloween
. Didn’t know that it would be flocked with that much people!! Coming and going and people never stops coming
And the van we were supposed to ride home were still on the way to CDO like 2 hours away. Going on a bus is not an option since seeing all the people flooding and running over to the bus to get seats is like SO not GOOD. The bus looks like sardines with a lot of people in a standing position almost no room to breathe but people don’t care as long as they get home, but the bus looks scary with that much people on it. So we decided to go back to the mall and watch “This Is It”
while waiting for the van to arrive. Michael Jackson’s “This is It” was AWESOME! I almost cried. I missed him. His concert would have been a HUGE event for this year and it’s so sad that it’s not even gonna happen. No one can replace him though
, R.I.P. M.J., You will be missed so much.
After the movie we went directly back to the terminal, it was about 8pm but no signs of the Van and the driver didn’t even send us a text message if he’s coming or not then we actually learned from those dispatchers that the van’s have decided to go via Butuan, Gingoog is only a bus stop going to Butuan but they said we had to pay double for Butuan and it’s like WTH so we waited for some other vans that are less cheaper but with a good driver. We have to be very careful coz it’s scary to travel at night, 8pm turned to 9pm then 10pm and still people never stops coming. We didn’t get on the air condition bus and it’s their last trip. argh! Good thing Aints got to talk to one of the bus driver who lives in Gingoog which turned out to be a friend of her friend. He agreed to let us get on the Deluxe bus first but we’ll have to wait outside the bus depot for awhile, 4 blocks from the terminal. We did so, we don’t mind at all as long as we get home. When the bus went to the terminal it was full within seconds . People pushed past everyone just to get ahead. Guys never cared if it’s a woman carrying a baby. The bus were full like sardines packed with people. Thank God we got home safe at 2am. I actually thought we won’t make it home that night with that much people. It was my first experience and we bowed never to travel on the eve of Halloween again. Lesson Learned. It’s better to stay at home.heehee. When i got home, even though i was exhausted i was excited to try on my new keypad protector, it looks neat though i have to cut it to fit with my netbook.
I slept around 3am and i woke up so late and i quickly jump out of bed remembering the Yankees Game 5 in the world Series. Caught up around the 6th inning and the score — Yankees 2 over Phillies 6 with A.J. Burnette as a starting pitcher. Though i kept telling myself it’s ok coz the Yankees are going back home for Game 6 in the Bronx. And the Yankees have a 3-2 lead of the World Series which means they only need 1 more win to be the World Series Champs. And I was gonna update my blog last night but i was excited as well as nervous at the same time and i was afraid i might say something that would Jinx it. I know i was thinking of the possible worst outcome, i was being pessimistic but i kept pushing back the thought while wishing, praying and hoping for the Yanks to win. I was so nervous around the 9th inning as well as my sister who kept buzzing me for updates on yahoo messenger coz she doesn’t want to watch the game thinking she’s being a bad luck . I was shaking, heartbeats racing while waiting for Mo to take down the last out in the 9th inning with a 7 lead score over 3 of the Phillies, I cried and then kept shouting like crazy when they won. Tears of joy, seeing those faces of Derek Jeter, Jorge Posada, Alex Rodriguez, Mariano Rivera, Mark Teixera, Hideki Matsui, A.J. Burnette, Andy Pettite, CC Sabathia, Robinson Cano, Nick Swisher, Johnny Damon, Joba Chamberlain, Damaso Marte, Phil Coke, Phil Hughes, David Robertson, Jose Molina, Jerry Hairston Jr, Gardner and others so happy, jumping around and hugging each other. IT WAS PRICELESS!! And now i got an early birthday and christmas present with the Yankees Winning the World Series. Thank you so much God.
