I went to CDO with my cousin Hazel and our Aunt to spend time with our other cousin Ciony. We set the weekend for us to bond and spend time together just like old times before Ciony leaves for England this first week of November. I was a bit hesitant to push through going since Ciony had her internet and cable TV cut off, so it means i won’t get to watch Game 6 of the ALCS – Yankees against the Angels- (obsessed much? i know haha i just love love them) but of course my cousin has to come first since i won’t be seeing her for a long time. When we got to CDO we went to stop by first at Ciony’s apartment to drop off our stuff then went to the Mall to meet up with Aints. We had pizza at Greenwich which were sooo yummy.

Next we watched a movie — “The Time Traveler’s Wife”, darn! it made me cry . I totally loved it. It’s all about love, marriage/relationship, holding on and letting go.

Rachel McAdams is one of my favorite actress, who also starred in the movie “The Notebook” , “The Hot Chick” and “Mean Girls”, those were few of her movies i’ve seen. And Eric Bana is such a hottie. I actually have a crush on him.

After the movie we went to get some groceries and hurried to get home at around 9:30ish pm so we can eat and get ready to go out and party. We didn’t plan on this but Hazel wants to party coz it has been a long time that we haven’t. We spent another hour first to eat ice cream with cheetos and talk about the old days again. We even talk about sending some “Maalala Mo Kaya”  story,  and thought about the title which would be -Mesa- (means table) , coz   i swear we spent so much time talking at the kitchen table. It’s where we mostly get together. Eat and talk on and on, it never seems to end. Then we hustled to get ready, it took 2 hours or so for us to get done,  it was already midnight when we got to this one bar it was already jam packed and no more seats . We had no choice but to go some other place. We found one and we had sooo much fun .

Sunday was spent just at my cousin’s apt for a movie marathon  and relaxing talking and laughing about old stupid stuff. Boy it was fun! I’m sure we’ll gonna miss Ciony being away. Hopefully we could do it all again soon with some of our other cousin’s. It will be one of the most awaited event that we’ll be looking forward to .

We got back home in Gingoog at around 2pm earlier this afternoon, I dropped off my things at the house and came hurriedly here in the cafe  to check who won the ALCS  and the Yankees won!! World Series here we come!! Though i didn’t get to watch it live on ESPN coz the game was at 7am and we got home not in time but I’m still am so happy!! The World Series will start this Wednesday. Yay!! Excited about it. Congratulations to the Yankees  and to all the Yankee fans out there around the world. WOHOOOOOO Congratulations to CC Sabathia for being the ALCS MVP of 2009, who has been nothing but brilliant all throughout  the series and he deserves to be the MVP.

I’ll be posting videos i found on youtube on my tumblr account which i have been doing for the past games just so i could look back at it a year after and say to myself i’ve witnessed it.  Anways, i’ll leave you with a video from the Game. Watch the crowd go nuts. IT WAS AWESOME AND  A PRICELESS MOMENT RIGHT THERE!!!

The crowds cheering and shouting gives me chills everytime i watch it KEWL!
